The workshop highlights common gaps that place organizations at risk for audit findings, funding denials, or compliance issues.

2-Day Nonprofit Fundamentals

 Nonprofit Fundamentals:  

2-Day Intensive Workshop is a comprehensive, hands-on training designed to support nonprofit organizations in building and strengthening their internal infrastructure to meet compliance, governance, and operational standards. This workshop moves beyond theory to guide participants through the development, review, and alignment of essential organizational documents and systems.

Led by credentialed professionals with more than 15 years of nonprofit, education, and compliance experience, the training addresses key areas such as organizational governance, policies and procedures, board roles and responsibilities, internal controls, and documentation required to meet state regulations, agency standards, and funder compliance expectations.

By the end of the workshop, participating organizations will leave with a clearer understanding of compliance requirements, improved document alignment, and actionable next steps to support audit readiness, grant eligibility, and long-term organizational sustainability.

Organizations completing the Nonprofit Fundamentals Intensive may be eligible for advanced technical assistance, compliance reviews, or grant readiness training through Advantage Education Partners. 


 Please note: All sales are final—no refunds will be issued. Participants who are unable to attend the scheduled two-day event may transfer their ticket to another training session within 90 days of the original workshop date. Transfers are limited to two (2) times within the 90-day period. Participants must notify Advantage Education Partners / Advantage Grants of their cancellation at least 72 hours prior to the first day of the event in order to be eligible for a transfer.
